We used this for cooking on while our kitchen was being remodeled. It worked great! Much better than the electric hot plate. Immediate heat output and full range of control, just like a gas cookstove but more ability to adjust the flame than our new gas range.
Please be careful not to use a pan that covers over the fuel canister. There are many stories and videos of people blowing these up. Just be careful.
I look forward to using it on my next camping trip. It's my new favorite portable stove.

Works well. I was surprised at how cheaply made it is. Time will tell if this was a decent purchase or not. It was simple and easy to set up and start. No complaints so far with operation.

I have the inexpensive one from Home Hardware (I'm in Canada), and it sucks. This Chefmate is a monster. Terrific to cook with in a power outage. A good deal (if you don't have to spend an extra 30% in currency exchange!)
